.TH SUMANN 1 "2 August 2012" "WFDB 10.5.14" "WFDB Applications Guide" .SH NAME sumann \- summarize the contents of a WFDB annotation file .SH SYNOPSIS \fBsumann -r\fR \fIrecord\fR \fB-a\fR \fIannotator\fR [ \fIoptions\fR ... ] .SH DESCRIPTION \fBsumann\fR reads the annotation file specified by \fIrecord\fR and \fIannotator\fR and produces a tabular summary of its contents, including the number of annotations of each type as well the duration and number of episodes of each rhythm and signal quality. .PP \fIOptions\fR include: .TP \fB-f\fR \fItime\fR Begin at the specified \fItime\fR. .TP \fB-h\fR Print a usage summary. .TP \fB-o\fR \fIbeat-table rhythm-table\fR Append summaries of beat and rhythm annotations to the specified \fIbeat-table\fR and \fIrhythm-table\fR files. The summaries for the specified \fIrecord\fR are written as a single line in CSV (comma-separated value) format in each file. If either file does not exist, it is created, and a header line containing column names is written to it.
